Language Delays & Differences
We support children with a variety of language needs, from delays in developing first words to challenges with understanding and using complex sentences. Whether your child’s needs are related to a diagnosed language disorder or differences in how they learn and process language, our goal is to help them grow in all areas of communication.
We help children:
Improve listening and understanding of spoken language (receptive skills)
Strengthen speaking skills for clear, effective communication (expressive skills)
Expand vocabulary for both academic and everyday use
Use grammar and sentence structure effectively in speaking and writing
And more, based on each child’s strengths and goals
AAC (Augmentative & Alternative Communication)
Communication is more than just speech. We support children who are nonspeaking or minimally verbal by using AAC (i.e., speech-generating devices or visuals) to help them express themselves with confidence. Whether your child is just starting with AAC or needs more support accessing curriculum with their device, we provide consistent, compassionate guidance every step of the way.
Neurodiversity Support
We recognize and celebrate the many ways children think, learn, and communicate. Our neurodiversity-affirming approach focuses on honoring each child’s strengths, preferences, and unique communication style while supporting areas where they may need extra help.
Reading & Literacy-Based Intervention
Strong literacy skills—listening, speaking, reading, and writing—open the door to lifelong learning. We provide evidence-based reading and writing intervention for children with literacy challenges, including those with language-based learning differences such as dyslexia.
We help children:
Build phonological awareness and decoding for reading success
Improve reading fluency and accuracy
Strengthen comprehension through vocabulary, listening, and language development
Improve writing skills, from sentence structure to written expression
And more, depending on their literacy needs
Executive Functioning Support
Executive functioning skills are essential for learning, communication, and independence. Difficulties with organization, working memory, attention, and self-regulation can make it harder for a child to stay engaged, complete tasks, and express ideas clearly.
We provide structured, individualized support to help children:
Plan and organize their work
Start and complete tasks
Remember and follow multi-step directions
Monitor and adjust their own work and behavior
And more, based on each child’s unique needs
School Access & Curriculum Support
Our work doesn’t stop at the therapy table—we bridge communication and learning in the classroom. We collaborate closely with families, teachers, and school teams to ensure your child can understand and use language to fully participate in lessons, group activities, and academic routines.
