Maiya Coilton, M.S., CCC-SLP, M.Ed.
As a speech-language pathologist (SLP), I have a deep understanding of how language and cognitive development impact academic achievement, and I specialize in supporting the language needs that are fundamental to overall learning.

Literacy and Dyslexia
Currently completing Orton-Gillingham training, I focus on providing literacy intervention for students with learning differences, blending structured literacy techniques with evidence-based language development strategies.

Speech-Language Pathologist with Expertise in AAC
I am passionate about helping students with diverse communication needs through Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). I support language development in both speaking and non-speaking learners.

Educator
Before becoming an SLP, I worked as a classroom teacher, in San Francisco, CA where I developed skills in differentiating instruction and collaborating with parents and educators to support diverse learners' success.

Executive Functioning & Academic Support
In my role as a coach for students with executive functioning needs and ADHD, I provided tailored academic support, helping students improve their skills and overcome challenges related to learning and organization.
